Our Liability
REST provides a platform through which users may access psychological and consultancy services. In some cases, individual practitioners listed on our site operate independently as associates. While they operate under the REST brand and use our systems (including booking, payment and communication tools), the service provider shall at all times be the practitioner. All our associates are regulated by their respective regulatory bodies. Each associate remains responsible for their own clinical practice, professional registration, data handling, and client relationships. REST will not accept liability for any loss or damage resulting from contact or work with the associate. Any complaint against the associate should be raised with the associate in the first instance and, if necessary, escalated to their respective member organisation.
The REST website (www.restpsychology.com) (“We”) is a site operated by Dr Winnie Chege.
The practitioners are all regulated by one or more of the following regulators:
The British Psychological Society
The General Medical Council
The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive
Psychotherapies
Health and Care Professions Council
